Our initial implementation of the child property has been a real customer delighter, especially among the M2s. Survey data indicate that we might achieve similar results by renaming child to children, although this will be a breaking change in certain scenarios.

The recent completion of the domicile expansion project should make this feasible, though we've been warned from other early implementors of this feature that there may be significant resource contention and ongoing support costs.

The costing exercise produced a consensus estimate of approximately nine months until completion. Engineering was not receptive to the idea of adding additional people to the task to get it done sooner (not sure why).
